강원작가트리엔날레2022 파빌리온

강원작가트리엔날레2022를 통해 조성되는 파빌리온은 지역의 시간들을 연결하고 행사장의 주요 공간을 이어내는 앵커 스페이스이다. 지역에서 간격을 두고 일어나는 축제, 행사의 시간뿐만 아니라 그 사이의 공백으로 남겨져 있던 시간을 주민의 일상과 공동의 기억으로 채워주는 역할을 한다. 또한 전시공간, 체험공간, 야외공원, 식당 등의 공간 사이에서 휴식과 영감을 제공한다.

조각작품과 잔디조경으로 구성된 부지위에 실내공간인 파빌리온 본동, 반외부공간인 별동 그리고 파빌리온과 지역을 낮게 조망하며 특유의 공간감을 느낄 수 있는 전망대가 외부 데크로 연결되어 구성되어 있다.

주요 기능을 담당하는 파빌리온 본동은 지역 음료와 다과를 소개하는 카페, 러쉬아트페어와 함께하는 전시, 다양한 트리엔날레 굿즈를 만나볼 수 있는 아트숍으로 구성되어 있으며 실내뿐만 아니라 데크마당, 외부공간이 함께 어우러져 있다. 트리엔날레 기간중에는 아티스트 토크와 개막공연 등이 펼쳐질 예정이다.

The Pavilion at Gangwon Artists Triennale 2022

The Pavilion at Gangwon Artists Triennale 2022 is an anchor space connecting events in the region and the major spaces of the venue. It serves local festivals and events, as well as filling the intervals between them with local residents’ daily lives and common memories. In addition, it provides opportunities for relaxation and inspiration, such as in spaces for exhibitions and hands-on programs, an outdoor park, and restaurants.

The Pavilion consists of two main spaces: the main building of the Pavilion, an indoor space located on the site that presents sculptures and grassy landscapes, and an annex building of the Pavilion, a half-outdoor space. Furthermore, the Pavilion is connected through the outdoor deck to a viewing platform which overlooks from a low angle the Pavilion and the region, offering a unique impression of the space.

Having not only an indoor space, but also the deck area and outdoor space, the main building of the Pavilion, which serves a variety of major functions, consists of a café offering local beverages and snacks, an exhibition with a LUSH Art Fair, and an art shop selling various items for the Triennale. During the Triennale, events such as artist talks and opening performances will take place here in the Pavilion.
